New Opportunities, Inc. Awarded Grant from Communities 4 Children Decategorization Project and Community Partnerships for Protecting Children
Thanks to a grant from the Communities 4 Children Decategorization Project and Community partnerships for Protecting Children, New Opportunities is able to offer the following programs/events in our service area:
1. Head Start program promoting positive parenting and additional hands on resources in Audubon, Carroll, Greene, Guthrie and Sac Counties.
2. Prevention SAFE Coalition host and coordinate movie night for 5th and 6th graders in Carroll.
3. Sac County Prevention Mentoring will offer with the East Sac County School District and Kids World, Inc. the Love and Logic Parent University Curriculum. The Love and Logic Curriculum offers parents an opportunity to learn how to positively parent their children in a calm and effective manner.
