Recovery Celebration
September 17, 2013, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
The 2013 Recovery Month observance emphasizes the many ways that people can prevent behavioral health issues, seek treatment, and sustain recovery as part of a commitment to living a mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy life.
This year New Opportunities Behavioral Health Department will be celebrating Recovery Month with our clients and their
families on September 17th 5:30 to 7:30pm at the administrative office in Carroll. During this celebration there will be three
speakers sharing their recovery stories with clients and families from our five counties. The speakers have various periods
of sobriety from 90 days to 20 plus years. In sharing their stories we hope to offer individuals the chance to hear and see
that treatment does work and there is always the potential for recovery. It is our privilege as the staff of the Behavioral
health Department to have a chance to give back to the clients and families that have put such hard work forward.
